• "EV" LIP DESIGNS

Figure 3 illustrates standard lip design of "EV" symbol. The "EV" type designs are the single lip oil seal without garter spring for applications of minor importance.

• "EK" LIP DESIGNS

Figure 4 illustrates standard double lip designs of "EK" symbol. The feature of "EK" type designs, corresponding to "EV" type, is the auxiliary lip for light dust exclusion.

• WORKING CONDITION : suitable for "V" and "K" type oil seals

Note:

(1) in high shaft speed, it's more possible to use high temperature materials such as polyacrylate, silicone or fluoroelastomer.

(2)slightly higher continuous pressure is applied to shaft speed below 200 ft./min.
